The Federal University of Health Sciences, Azare (FUHSA), has expelled 21 students over their involvement in examination malpractice and other forms of anti-social conduct.

The decision was ratified at the institution’s 32nd Senate meeting, where four other students were also rusticated for two semesters, while 19 received stern warning letters.

Registrar of the university, Halima Garba, disclosed the sanctions in a press statement, noting that the measures followed thorough investigations and recommendations of the Disciplinary Committee.

She stressed that the Senate’s ruling is binding, cautioning staff and students to immediately cease academic or administrative interactions with those expelled.

Reaffirming FUHSA’s zero tolerance for misconduct, Garba stated that the institution remains committed to discipline, integrity, and academic excellence. She further urged all students to abide strictly by the university’s rules and regulations.
