Why I’m feeding the less-privileged, ADC Reps candidate, Gbenga Power reveals

The African Democratic Congress, ADC, candidate for Ifelodun/Offa/Oyun Federal Constituency, Honorable Gbenga Oyekunle Power has continued to extend his generosity to the people he intends to go and represent in the House of Representatives come 2023.

Gbenga Power in a bid to ensure more people benefits from his generosity, distributed bags of rice to Agunjin town and it environs.

Speaking on the reason why he is feeding the less privileged in the society, the party stalwart said: “the two Holy books teaches the act of giving, anyone who feeds the less privileged will surely receive God’s blessings.”

He maintained that the act of giving has been ingrained into his life, hence he is always uncomfortable with he sees others lacking.

A resident of Agunjin Community, Hajia Fatimah Mohammed said she felt very happy when she heard that Honourable Gbenga Power will run as a candidate in the race for Ifelodun, Offa and Oyun Federal Constituency, nothing that it’s a right decision at the right time.

“I am so glad he decided to run for the election because of his kindness and generosity towards the people, Honourable Gbenga Power has the heart of gold, if such person is given support to win, development is assured across the communities “.

Also, ADC Women leader in Agunjin, Mrs Rachel Abolarin expressed satisfaction for the huge turnout of party members and supporters and promised to make sure everyone gets their share of Christmas Rice.

At Oke-Ode the turnout was huge as ADC members and supporters around the community were on ground with musical instruments to receive Honourable Gbenga Power.

In his remark, Honorable Gbenga Oyekunle Power described the mammoth crowd as a pleasant surprise while expressing hope that the turnout of supporters to cast their vote for him will double the number.

He had earlier paid a condolence visit to the Olori Olomooba of Oke-Ode, Alhaji Abdulkareem Owolabi.

At Shaagbe Community, Honorable Gbenga Power promised to facilitate installation of mobile telecommunication and drilling of boreholes to the area.

“Your request for solar power in the community will granted immediately I emerge as winner in the election, even before the swearing in ceremony “.

One of the resident of the area, Mr Saka Bello from Igbo-agba, people of Shaagbe and its environs suffers from non availability of portable water and telecommunication.

“See the disease on my body, this is due to non availability of water, we are really suffering for water in this community, I pray God will assist you to get your dreams, kindly assist us with borehole as you have done in other communities”

ADC candidate for Federal House of Representatives also met with Oni Shaagbe of sagbe, Oba Isiaka Lawal and Fulani Head in Gaa Aiyede, Alhaji Ahmed Usman who offered their blessings to him.

The campaign train also paid homage to Akunyun of Labaka-Oja, Oba Kazeem Adelodun, where he received another before meeting with his teaming supporters and gave them bags of Rice.
