Gbenga Power told beneficiaries at some of the wards visited that the distribution of One Thousand Five Hundred bags of Rice is part of steps to ensure people in the constituency celebrate the festive season with joy.
An elder in the community, Mr Jamiu Olaiya expressed optimism that Honorable Gbenga Power would emerge winner in 2023 elections while calling on mammoth supporters to troop out in mass to give Gbenga Power their mandate.
“Our people in Ifelodun are always in slumber during election period, that’s why the local government lacks development compared to the other two, now that a candidate has emerged from our area, let us come out on election day to vote for him “.
In Idofian, he was received by the Yoruba and Fulani community, a front line politician popularly known as, Lako could not contain his gratitude for all the great things Gbenga Power has been doing in Idofian over the years.
“Good begets good, let us reciprocate his numerous gestures by voting for him during the election, we shouldn’t betray his continuous effort, he was the only one we got to meet during our hunger days, anyone that comes to us now is just for the benefits of election, please let us remember that “.
In her submission, ADC candidate for Idofian community at the State House of Assembly, Honorable Oluwaseun Bamigbade urged the supporters to cast their vote for Gbenga Power as their candidate for Federal Constituency.
“I urge my people in Idofian to cast their vote for Gbenga Power, he is the son of the soil, who has been trying for the community, now that he needs your vote, kindly reciprocate his numerous gestures”.
At Ilemona in Oyun Local Government Area, supporters were already on ground to receive the ADC candidate as he was welcome with various songs portraying his philanthropic performances.
Addressing supporters at the Ilemona ADC secretariat, Honorable Gbenga Oyekunle Power explained to supporters that his aim is to ensure the people enjoy Christmas, hence the things he brought is not for party members alone but for the entire community.
“It’s good to extend hands of giving to the people, the things I brought is not for party members alone but for the entire community to share, this is my little way of making people happy during festivities “.
The Elemona of Ilemona, His Royal Highness, Oba Yusuf Omokanye, prayed for the success of Honourable Gbenga Power at the forthcoming general elections.
“You won’t regret your decision to venture into politics, I pray you come out victorious”.
In Erin-Ile, in Oyun Local Government Area, ADC Women leader, Mrs Ganiyat Lawal could not contain her happiness for the huge turnout of supporters in the area, while expressing hope that more than such number is expected to vote for Honorable Gbenga Power in 2023 election.
“I am the happiest person today, Oyun people really surprised me for your mammoth turnout, I hope you will prove your loyalty to our Honorable during the election too”.
The ADC candidate for Ifelodun, Offa and Oyun Federal Constituency, Hounourable Gbenga Oyekunle Power further moved his hand of gestures to Offa in Offa Local Government Area by installing about Ten Solar Power in Oja-Oba and Oja Owede.
Speaking at the commissioning, Chairman of ADC in Offa Local Government Area, Comrade Adegoke Sharafa called on supporters to work assiduously for the success of Honourable Gbenga Power.
“We are the only ones with the zeal for improvement in the community, it was our personal interest to bring the idea of solar power to Oja-Oba and Oja Owede to ease night activities in the two areas, Honorable Gbenga was kind enough to make the dream come to reality, it is our hope that the gesture will bring him success from our area “.
Similarly, the Iyaloja of Oja-Oba, Alhaja Lateefat Faruk, who appreciated the idea, prayed for the success of Honourable Gbenga Power.
In a response, Honorable Gbenga Oyekunle, assured the market women of more meaningful development if he is voted in to represent them at the Federal level.
“Our mother, if I am given the mandate to represent you at the Federal House of Representatives, I pledge that one of the first project to embark on is empowerment, women needs to be empowered because you are the builder that mold the home “.
The ADC candidate for Ifelodun, Offa and Oyun Federal Constituency also met with some youth in Offa community under the aegis of, Agbala Progressives Congress to share ideas and look for ways to improve the development of the constituency.
Spokesperson of Agbala Progressives Congress, Comrade Wale Cellular who welcomed Gbenga Power, said the people will like to know his pledge to the community if the election is won.
In Omupo, Ifelodun Local Government Area, Honorable Gbenga Oyekunle Power also promised the crowd consisting of Yoruba, Fulani, Bororo, Zulu and others to provide more succor for the people if elected.
“I am aware of the love people of Omupo has for me, please the little time left before elections, don’t allow anyone lie to you, just manage the little for now, with time more will come that will be enough for all and sundry “.
One of the community leaders, Professor Raphael Olarinoye lauded all the wonderful things Gbenga Power has been doing for people across all the three Constituencies, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“I am always delighted when some selected people engage in selfless services for the people without expecting anything, this Gbenga has been doing before venturing into politics, hence I can confirm that he is a good man and will be a great leader if given the opportunity”.
In the entourage of Honorable Gbenga Oyekunle Power to the communities visited so far are ADC party stalwarts, amongst whom are Prince Shola Popoola, Mr Adeshina Olarewaju, Madam Bisi and many more.
