Real Madrid forward Rodrygo Goes has reportedly turned down a move to Tottenham Hotspur during the ongoing summer transfer window.
According to French journalist Santi Aouna of Foot Mercato, the Brazilian international has no interest in joining the Premier League side, despite reports of Spurs making an inquiry about his availability.
Rodrygo, 24, is said to be seeking a bigger club should he decide to leave Los Blancos this summer. His stance signals a desire to compete at the highest level, preferably with a club regularly participating in the UEFA Champions League.
Real Madrid have reportedly listed Rodrygo among three players open for transfer during the current window. However, the winger is understood to be awaiting assurances from incoming manager Xabi Alonso regarding his role in the squad for the 2025/26 season.
The Brazil international was not a consistent starter during Madrid’s campaign at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup in the United States, which has raised questions about his future at the club.
Rodrygo joined Real Madrid in 2019 from Santos and has since made over 150 appearances, contributing significantly during their recent Champions League and La Liga title wins.
