Eagles Set Date For Camp Ahead of Gabon Clash

The Super Eagles of Nigeria are set to open camp on Sunday, November 9, in preparation for the 2026 FIFA World Cup playoffs.

The camp will open five days before Nigeria begin their playoff campaign against the Panthers of Gabon, as they look to secure qualification for the global showpiece.

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) is yet to announce the official venue for the crucial encounter.

Head coach Eric Chelle is expected to unveil his squad for the tie before the end of the month, as preparations intensify.

In the other semi-final fixture, Cameroon will take on Gabon, with the overall winners from both ties advancing to the intercontinental playoffs slated for March 2026 in Mexico.
