The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, Mai-Martaba Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR has rejoiced with the Sarkin Gobir of Ilorin, Alhaji Yakubu Layi Gobir, on his 60th birthday anniversary.
The monarch described Alhaji Gobir who is also the Madawaki of Ilorin as an accomplished Pharmacist, Philanthropist, Traditional Chief and a Distinguished Nigerian with exceptional qualities entrepreneurship and professionalism.
This is contained in a statement issued on Tuesday by his Press Secretary, Dr. Abdulazeez Arowona stressing that, “Sarkin Gobir Yakubu Gobir is an outstanding personality with records of impactful contributions to the preservation of the rich traditional and cultural heritage of the Ilorin Emirate.”
“His support for the less privileged is a through reflection of his absolute commitments to service humanity and Islamic jurisprudence and most importantly, his generous donations towards the completion of the Gambari Central Mosque, deserves continuous prayers on him for more successes, protections and upliftments in his endeavours.”
The Emir however wishes the celebrant more years of peaceful reign on the stool as the Sarkin Gobir of Ilorin adding that, “May the Diamond Jubilee celebration usher in unprecedented accomplishment to you and your entire households”.
