Tinubu, APC Governors Hold Closed-Door Meeting with NLC Leadership in Abuja

Date:

President Bola Tinubu and governors of the All Progressives Congress (APC), under the Progressive Governors Forum (PGF), are holding a closed-door meeting with the leadership of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) at the Presidential Villa.

The invitation to the NLC leadership is reportedly aimed at deepening dialogue between the Federal Government, state governors, and organised labour amid rising economic pressures ahead of the 2027 elections.

The meeting is expected to focus on fostering governance dialogue, enhancing stakeholder collaboration, and promoting inclusive participation in national development initiatives across the federation.

At the time of reporting, further details of the discussions have not been disclosed.
