
The Kwara state government has reacted the to the rumour widely circulated that there may be total lockdown in the state on Monday (tomorrow).
The Chief Press Secretary to the Governor/Spokesman of the Kwara State Technical Committee on COVID, Rafiu Ajakaye, in a statement issued on Sunday said: “We want to clarify that the government has not declared total lockdown as is being speculated in some quarters.”
He added that, “The public, as has been the practice of the administration and the committee, will be duly notified of any further decisions. For now, the partial lockdown remains in force.”
