ADC Chieftain Dele Momodu Warns of Tinubu’s 2027 Political Dominance

Date:

Dele Momodu, a prominent leader of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has warned that President Bola Tinubu is unlikely to tolerate any opposition challenges in the 2027 elections. Momodu expressed concern that Tinubu expects unwavering support despite struggling to address critical national issues.

In a post on X, Momodu criticised Nigerians for what he described as complacency, likening their acceptance of poor governance to “willingly entering slavery.” He urged citizens to remember the country’s historical fight against military dictators and oppressive leaders.

Momodu condemned what he called a “God complex” in leadership, stating that tyrants typically prioritise themselves, their families, and close associates. He argued that Tinubu’s administration has failed in key areas, including budgeting, security, and public communication.

He emphasised that his warning is not a political attack but a plea for foresight, stressing that Nigerians should recognise the country’s challenges before it is too late. Momodu described the nation as being at a critical point, with only divine intervention able to bring meaningful change.

The ADC chieftain concluded by calling for urgent national reflection and action, asserting that failure to heed such warnings could leave Nigeria in deeper crisis as the 2027 elections approach.
