Super Eagles head coach, Jose Peseiro claimed Zaidu Sanusi did well in his side’s victory against the Palancas Negras of Angola.
Zaidu has not measured up to standard for Nigeria at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
The Porto defender also put up a below average performance in the 1-0 win against the Angolans.
The Super eagle coach said, “Zaidu has done well for us. It’s not easy to play in this system (3-4-3). You have to run and defend a lot, I think he performed well in this game. He made a couple of mistakes but overall his performance was good.”
Zaidu has played all of Nigeria’s five games at the AFCON 2023 finals.
