Breaking…. Gov. AbdulRazaq gives Sen. Oloriegbe new appointment, Ameerul-Hajj for 2024

Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has appointed Senator Ibrahim Yahya Oloriegbe as the leader of the state’s contingent (Ameerul-Hajj) to 2024 Hajj in Saudi Arabia, according to a statement on Tuesday.

ROYAL NEWS reports that Kwara State has at least 3,102 pilgrims for this year’s Hajj — one of the highest in the country,according to a statement issued on Tuesday by Rafiu Ajakaye, the heChief Press Secretary to the Governor.

The statement said the choice of the senator is borne out of his experience and networks as a Muslim community leader.

“The government believes that the senator will deploy his knowledge and understanding of the terrain to ensure improved coordination and efficiency for the exercise” the statement added.
