Emefiele: Mechanical Engineer as acting CBN Gov., may cause disaster—Adeyanju

A renown Socio-political activist, Deji Adeyanju, has attacked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for choosing Engr. Folashodun Adebisi Shonubi to take over from Mr. Godwin Emefiele, as the acting governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, (CBN).

He warned that Tinubu’s choice to nominate mechanical engineer Shonubi could spell disaster for Nigeria, ROYAL NEWS reports.

In a Facebook post, Adeyanju wrote: “I am quite disturbed that he has nominated Shonubi, a mechanical engineer, as Acting Governor of the Apex bank. Turkey has made a similar appointment to the CBN Governor position, and Kenya recently did the same.
