Emir of Ilorin condoles Kwara NUJ over demise of Harmony FM staff

The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, Mai-Martaba Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR, has commiserated with the leadership of the Nigeria Union of Journalists ( NUJ), Kwara State Council over the death of Mallam Abdulrazaq Bello who died at the early hours on Monday.

Alhaji Sulu-Gambari, in a condolence message issued by his spokesman, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona, described the deceased who was until his death a staff of Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, (FRCN) Harmony FM Idofian, as a peaceful, diligent and hardowrking media practitioner.

The statement added that late AbdulRazaq Bello was a frontline reporter who always support and herald all the activities of the Ilorin Emirate Council by filing reports on happenings and events of His Royal Highness, the Emir of Ilorin as well as the entire traditional institution in the state.

The monarch, together with the entire members of the Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council heartily expressed their sadness and heartfelt condolences to the Kwara NUJ, management and staff of Harmony FM Idofian, friends and associates over the unfortunate incidence.

Alhaji Sulu-Sulu-Gambari specially commiserated with the widow and children of late Mallam AbdulRazaq Bello stressing that he contributed immensely to the peaceful co-existence of Ilorin Emirate and beyond as a professional media expert.

“May Almighty Allah accept his good deeds, forgive his shortcomings, admit him into Al-janatul firdaos and comfort the family members that he left behind”, he added.
