The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, Mai-Martaba Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR, has announced the appointment of two traditional titles of Dan Amana and Wakili of Ilorin.
While the Emir confers the traditional title of Dan Amana on the Executive Director of Finance at the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Dr. AbdulKadir Tunji Nagode, a former member of the Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Moshood Mustapha, was named as the new Wakili of Ilorin.
This is contained in a statement issued by the Emir’s spokesman, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona. He noted that both appointees were honoured after critical assessment of their contributions to Ilorin Emirate and humanity in general
While formal turnbaning would be announced in due course, Alhaji Sulu-Gambari urged them to remain loyal and committed to growth and development of Ilorin Emirate, Kwara State and Nigeria at large.
