In a congratulatory message issued by his spokesman, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona, the Emir expressed his appreciation to the leadership of the National Association of Teachers of Arabic and Islamic Studies (NATAIS) for finding the varsity don worthy of the new title.
The monarch said the award is not a mere recognition of hardwork but absolute confirmation of the outstanding contributions of Professor Badmos to research, mentorship and community services for many decades as a Teacher, Islamic scholar, Community Leader and family man of unique notes.
Alhaji Sulu-Gambari however expressed his confidence that the Awardee will explore his new status to uplift and promote the face of Ilorin Emirate in his social and academic engagements globally stressing that, “You are a Pride to Ilorin Emirate and the entire Islamic world.”
He therefore urged Professor Badmos not to relent in his contributions to humanity in general even as he prayed that Almighty Allah will continue to strengthen him for meritorious service to Ilorin Emirate, Kwara State and Nigeria in general.
