Emir Sulu-Gambari pays tribute to late Walin Ilorin’s wife, Alarape Belgore

The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Council of Chiefs, Mai-Martaba Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari,CFR, has commiserated with the Belgore families both home and abroad over the demise of Alhaja Maryam Alarape Belgore who died on Sunday.

Alhaji Sulu-Gambari specially condoled with Barr. Mohammed Dele Belgore SAN and his sister, Barr Bilqees Belgore over the great loss of their mother stressing that “Hajia Alarape lived a fulfilled, enviable and productive life worthy of emulation.”

In his condolence message issued by his spokesman, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona, the emir disclosed that “during her lifetime, as the wife of the Wali of Ilorin, late Justice Babatunde Mahmud Belgore who retired as the Chief Judge of the Federal High Court, the deceased distinguished herself and nurtured her children to become highly respected legal practitioners in the nation.”

“She was such a wonderful woman who has mentored younger generations of females to be hardworking, dutiful and supportive in the family and society at large. May Almighty Allah forgive her shortcomings, accept her good deeds and admit her into al-janatul firdaos”, the Emir prayed.
