Fulani community sets to honour First Lady, Aisha Buhari

Fulani Community of Kachia grazing reserve, Ladduga, in Kachia local government area of  Kaduna State is to honour the Nigeria’s First Lady, Aisha Buhari, for receiving baby of the year 2020, who’s an indigene of the community.

The prestigious event is also expected to showcase the long years of peaceful relationship between farmers and herders in Kachia Laduga in southern kaduna area of Kaduna State.
A statement jointly signed on Tuesday by Sarkin Shanu Ikulu, Ardo Hussaini Suleiman Mairiga and  the Secretary organizing committee, Lamido Hussaini Salisu Kachia Dallatu of Laduga, stated that the baby of the year 2020 arrived at 12:00 am 1st January, to the family Sani Ardo Hussaini Laduga, Gorko Laduga.
 It reads: “Laduga community Kachia grazing reserve will  honour First Lady of Nigeria, Her Excellency, Aisha Buhari, for receiving first baby of the year 2020, an indigene of Kachia Laduga.
“The Sarkin Shanu Ikulu, Ardo Hussaini Suleiman Mairiga and Lamido Hussaini Salisu Kachia, Dallatu of Laduga, expressed excitement that the baby arrived at 12: 00 am 1st January to the family Sani Ardo Hussaini Laduga, Gorko Laduga.
“The Laduga community note that the incidents signal God blessing, therefore, an avenue to celebrate peaceful agenda for both Fulani herders and natives of Southern Kaduna state.

“Ladduga community in Kachia Local Government Area has a record of peaceful coexistence with other communities for years”, it stated, adding that “the event will also present honorarium award to the executive Governor of Kaduna State and special recognition to speaker, House of Representatives wife who received the baby on behalf of the first Lady.

“The prestigious ceremony will be blessed by the attendance of various tribal community of Southern Kaduna and neighbouring States with Chief of Ikulu as royal father of the event.
