Gaidam rejoices as Police Affairs Ministry wins FEPSGA trophy

Minister of Police Affairs, Senator Ibrahim Gaidam has applauded the ministry’s sports men and women for their achievement at the Federation of Public Service Games, FEPSGA September 2023 edition of keep-fit aerobics exercise to mark Nigeria’s 63rd Independence.
The second-best trophy and certificate for Best Behaved Ministries, Departments and Agencies, MDAs for the September 2023 edition, according to a statement issued by the Deputy Director (Press) in the ministry, Bolaji O. Kazeem, were presented to the Honourable Minister on behalf of the Ministry Sports Association by the Permanent Secretary, Dr. Nasir Sani-Gwarzo at the ministry’s headquarters in Abuja.
The minister reiterated the commitment of the ministry to sustain a healthy workforce that is key to achieving accountability, efficiency, and professionalism as well as strengthening the training capacity of the police institutions that would enable them to discharge their duty in a swift and precise process to restore the confidence of Nigerians.
He said: “As we embark on this journey to strengthen the overall policing architecture of Nigeria, let us all join hands together as we build a safer, more prosperous, and harmonious Nigeria that we can all be proud of.
“Our security architecture is evolving. It is about people and partnerships. It is about forging bonds between law enforcement and the communities they serve. It is about understanding that our strength lies in unity and healthy workers.”
Gaidam assured out that the management would continue to support sporting activities that would enable the staff to be fit and healthy as well as allowing them to share innovative ideas that would improve policy formulation and implementation in the ministry.
The minister charged the sportsmen/women to double their efforts to win more laurels for the ministry in future, maintaining that the management is solidly behind them to keep fit and healthy which he noted would engender efficient productivity at work.
