The Principal Partner of Yolas Consultant and Zanna of Ilorin, Engr. Yusuf ‘Lanre Sagaya OFR, has condoled the families of the late Governor of Kwara State and one time Minister for Communications, Chief Cornelius Adebayo, describing the incidence as a great loss to humanity.
He expressed his profound sadness over the ex-governor’s demise adding that his sterling legacies will continue to remain evergreen in the hearts of his beloved ones and the nation at large.
In a condolence message issued on Wednesday, Engr. Sagaya extolled the virtues of the deceased whom he described as an accomplished academician, administrator, politician and nationalist.
He emphasized that, “Late Chief Cornelius Olatunji Adebayo CON was my senior at the Provincial Secondary School (PSS), Ilorin. I was just in From II when he was in his final year as the Head Boy of the school.
“He was loved by everyone as a dependable mentor, outstanding student with good academic records, highly discipline, patriotic and humble. Even after he had left the school, he ensured that his bond with the school and her Alumni remain strong. He contributed greatly to the GSS Old Boys Association over the years. We shall all miss him. May his soul rest in peace.”
Sagaya however commiserates with the Government and people of Kwara State especially the family of the deceased over the great loss and prayed God to comfort them.
