Nollywood Actor Peter Ijagbemi Marries TV Presenter Folajogun Akinlami

Nollywood actor Peter Ijagbemi has officially married his partner, television presenter and producer Folajogun Akinlami, in a private ceremony attended by close family members.

Ijagbemi shared photos from the wedding on his Instagram account with the caption, “To God be the glory, it’s official.”

Akinlami also marked the occasion on her social media, revealing that she has taken the actor’s surname. In her post, she expressed joy over giving love another chance, writing, “Today I married my best friend and said yes to forever with him.”

She added, “Today I decided to change my surname. Today I realised Folajogun Akinlami is quite a mouthful. Mrs Fola Peters Ijagbemi will do just fine.”

The couple’s union drew widespread attention and celebration across the entertainment industry, with several Nollywood stars congratulating them in the comments section.

Among those who sent their well-wishes were Allwell Ademola, Jaye Kuti, Femi Adebayo, Lola Idije, Biodun Okeowo, Damola Olatunji, and Chizzy Alichi.

Peter Ijagbemi is known for his roles in Yoruba-language films, while Akinlami is a well-known figure in Nigerian television as both a presenter and producer.

The couple has not yet announced plans for a public celebration or reception.
