NPA expects 19 ships with petroleum products, others at Lagos ports

The Nigerian Ports Authority, NPA, says it is expecting 19 ships loaded with petroleum products, food and others from January 24 to February 4.

The NPA made this known in its publication, ‘Sending Position’, a copy of which was made available to the Nigerian News Agency in Lagos on Monday.

According to him, the ships are expected to arrive at the Lagos Port Complex.

The authority said the vessels were carrying general cargo, frozen fish, container, bulk sugar, base oil, bulk coal, bulk salt, butane ethanol gas and bulk wheat.

NPA reports that another nine ships had arrived at the ports expecting to dock with bulk sugar, containers and general cargo.

Likewise, the organization said that another 19 ships were in the ports unloading bulk wheat, general cargo, containers, frozen fish, bulk salt, bulk sugar and gasoline.

Other discharges are coils, bulk gypsum, and automobile gasoline.
