The Ona of Abaji and Chairman, FCT Council of Chiefs, Alhaji Adamu Baba Yunusa, CON, will on Friday 25th November 2022 install, Hajia Farida Odangi Suleiman as the Gimbiya Abaji.
ROYAL NEWS reports that the event is part of activities marking the 25th coronation anniversary of the monarch.
PROFILE
Born over four decades ago, Hajia Farida Odangi Suleiman, who is an indigene of Federal Capital Territory (FCT), started off her academic pursuit at Jabi Primary School, Jabi, Abuja.
She then proceeded to Federal Government Girls College (F.G.G.C), Bwari, Abuja, between 1992 and 1998, where she obtained her Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE).
After bagging B.Tech Estate Management from the Federal University of Technology (FUT) Minna in 2005, Farida proceeded for her compulsory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) between 2007 and 2008.
In 2015, she returned to FUT Minna, for her Master Degree (M. Tech Environmental Impact Assessment) and completed her studies in 2017.
Hajia Farida Odangi Suleiman kick-started her career in 2003 with Federal Capital Development Authority at its Department of Maintenance (ITF). However, she had her NYSC between 2007 and 2008 at the Maintenance Department of the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA), Abuja.
She joined ABONTA And Co., a private firm, in 2009 and by 2010 Mrs. Suleiman became the Fixed Assets Manager, Estate Officer I, at FCT Secondary Education Board, FCTA and she currently works with KAM Holding Ltd, a leading indigenous manufacturer of Iron and Steel product.
