The deposed Emir of Kano, Malam Muhammadu Sanusi II, has departed Nigeria for Senegal, ROYAL NEWS.

He was accompanied by his Chief of Staff, Mannir Sanusi ( Danburan Kano) and two other aides.

Sanusi II is billed to attend the fidau prayer of Grand Khalifa of Tijjaniyya Islamic Movement in Africa, Khalifa Shiekh Ahmed Tijani Nyass in Kaolaq, Senegal.

Malam Muhammadu Sanusi II departed the Murtala Muhammad International Airport, Lagos, in a private aircraft after approval from the federal government considering that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Nigeria airspace only allows domestic travels.
