Radda Back at Work After Recovering from Crash

Date:

Umaru Dikko Radda

Governor Dikko Umaru Radda of Katsina State has resumed official duties after being discharged from the hospital and declared medically fit by his doctors.

Radda was hospitalized following a minor road accident during a trip from Katsina to Daura. The incident briefly disrupted his official schedule, prompting widespread concern among residents and political allies.

A statement issued by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Mohammed Ibrahim Kaula, confirmed that medical experts have cleared Governor Radda to return to work and carry out his responsibilities without restrictions.

“Governor Radda expresses deep gratitude to the people of Katsina State, friends, colleagues, and well-wishers across the country who extended prayers and support during his recovery,” the statement read.

He described the outpouring of goodwill as deeply touching and said it had strengthened his commitment to serve the state with renewed energy and focus.

The governor also reaffirmed his dedication to delivering on his administration’s “Building Your Future” agenda, aimed at advancing development and prosperity across Katsina State.

This follows earlier reports that the Katsina State Government will cover the medical expenses of all victims involved in the accident that affected members of the governor’s convoy.

Radda had previously received commendations for his proactive governance and was recently seen celebrating the appointment of two Katsina indigenes into the Sokoto-Rima River Basin Development Authority, as well as extending warm birthday wishes to former President Muhammadu Buhari.
