Senate President Godswill Akpabio has hailed Governor Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau State as a major political conqueror ahead of the 2027 elections.
Speaking on Monday in Jos, the state capital, Akpabio officially welcomed Mutfwang into the All Progressives Congress, APC, describing him as the party’s “newest bride” and a performing governor.
“Even in the Bible it says, Caleb, we can go up to the mountain and conquer it. I want you to know that this moment means you have conquered the Government House in Plateau State again in 2027,” Akpabio said.
He further emphasized that the North-Central region is now fully under APC influence, dismissing claims that the government targets any specific religion.
Akpabio congratulated the governor, saying his name reflects “nothing but conquest,” and described the occasion as a significant milestone for the party in the region.
