Tinubu Assigns Portfolios to North Central Development Commission Directors

President Bola Tinubu has approved portfolios for five newly appointed executive directors on the board of the North Central Development Commission (NCDC).

The announcement was made in a statement on Monday by Segun Imohiosen, Director of Information and Public Relations in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.

The directors and their assigned roles are: Hajiya Biliquis Jumoke, Administration and Human Resources; Mrs. Aisha Rufai Ibrahim, Commercial and Industrial Development; Mr. James Abel Uloko, Corporate Services; Prof. Muhammad Bashar, Finance; and Atika Ajanah, Projects.

Tinubu urged the appointees to work closely with the governing board of the commission to drive sustainable development across the North-Central geopolitical zone.

The president also recently approved the process for appointing five new permanent secretaries.

According to the presidency, two positions became vacant following the retirement of permanent secretaries from Imo State and the Federal Capital Territory. The other three vacancies represent zonal slots for the North-Central, North-East, and South-East, following the creation of new ministries.
