Tribute: And the Super Falcons Made Us Taller….Hajiya Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, FSI

Date:

1. Today, I stand in awe; not just as the Minister of Women Affairs and Social Development; but as a proud Nigerian woman, to salute our phenomenal Super Falcons on their historic 10th consecutive WAFCON victory. With a stunning 3-2 triumph at the finals, you have once again etched Nigeria’s name in gold and lifted the spirit of a nation.

2. This is more than a win. It is a legacy. A statement. A celebration of the resilience, excellence, and boundless potential of the Nigerian woman.

3. Each time you step onto the pitch, you remind us that limits exist only to be broken. You have carried our hopes with dignity, defended our pride with strength, and inspired generations with every goal, every pass, and every drop of sweat.

4. To our gallant Falcons; you have not only made us proud, you have made us taller. Taller in confidence, taller in global recognition, and taller in our collective belief that women can and will continue to lead, to win, and to shine.

5. On behalf all Nigerian women and girls, I celebrate you. You are more than champions; you are icons of our nation’s greatness.

6. Congratulations, Super Falcons!
