The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, Mai-Martaba Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR, has rejoiced with the Founder/Principal Partner at YUNUS ABDULSALAM & CO, Barr. Yunus AbdulSalam on his attainment of the Rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria, (SAN).
Yunus, an Ilorin Emirate indigene was among the newly decorated SANs by the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun on Monday at the age of 38.
In a statement issued by his spokesman, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona, the Emir expressed delight over the intelligence, commitments and patriotism of the Ilorin-born legal practitioner.
ROYAL NEWS gathered that the alumnus of Lincoln University, United Kingdom and Bayero University, Kano, was born in 1986 into the prominent Magaji Jaji family in Ilorin-west local government area of Kwara State.
Alhaji Sulu-Gambari noted that Barr. Yunus AbdulSalam (SAN) has further confirmed the contributions of Ilorin Emirate to the growth and development of legal profession in Nigeria both in the Bar and on the Bench stressing that, “I am extremely proud, seeing another vibrant and illustrious son of Ilorin Emirate making such a remarkable feat.”
