NYSC Announces March 31 as Passing-Out Date for Corps Members

Date:

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has fixed Tuesday, March 31, 2026, as the date for the passing-out ceremony of 2025 Batch ‘A’ Stream One corps members, according to the scheme’s management.

The event will be conducted in a low-key manner across all Local Government Areas (LGAs) nationwide, with certificates of national service to be distributed to deserving corps members.

Activities leading to the ceremony will begin on March 13, 2026, with Job Advisory and Counselling (JAC) sessions organised by the NYSC in collaboration with relevant agencies, alongside the signing of final clearance by zonal inspectors.

NYSC Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline W. Embu, disclosed the arrangements, noting that the programme is designed to prepare corps members for post-service life.

The Director-General, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, urged the corps members to uphold the core values of the scheme and remain good ambassadors as they complete their national service.
