Vice President Kashim Shettima, representing President Bola Tinubu, has arrived at Eagle Square, Abuja to participate in the 2026 National Police Day Grand Parade and Procession.

A statement issued on Tuesday by his media aide, Stanley Nkowcha, confirmed that upon arrival, Vice President Shettima took the salute from officers on parade as the ceremony commenced.

The event convenes senior government officials, leadership of the Nigeria Police Force, security chiefs, and officers drawn from across the federation, marking a key annual celebration of the nation’s police service.
