The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, Mai-Martaba Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR, has felicitated with the 15th Emir of Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero CFR, on his conferment with an Honorary Doctorate Degree, Doctor of Arts (D.A.), by the Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU).
Alhaji Sulu-Gambari who described the honour as well-deserved added that the monarch is a detrabalised Nigerian whose wealth of experience as a Traditional Ruler reflects nationalism, patriotism and humility.
This is contained in a statement issued on Momday by the Emir’s Press Secretary, Dr. Abdulazeez Arowona.
Alhaji Sulu-Gambari said the honour was awarded in recognition of his exemplary leadership, commitment to national unity, and contributions to societal development.
The monarch however congratulates the authority of the Akwa Ibom State University on the occasion of the 9th–12th Combined Convocation Ceremony of the University.
He extended his heartfelt joy to other Recipients; Alhaji Muhammadu Indimi (Doctor of Business Administration) and Mr. Uwem Stephen Okoko (Doctor of Engineering) as well as the entire graduands at event.
AAlhaji prayed Almighty to continue to strengthen His Royal Highness, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero CFR, CNOL, JP for educational advancement in Nigeria and benefits of mankind in general.
