Leaders of the Kwara State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Wednesday held a strategic meeting at the party’s state secretariat in Ilorin to strengthen internal coordination and review ongoing political activities in the state.
The meeting brought together members of the State Working Committee, local government party officials, and other stakeholders to deliberate on organisational matters and strategies aimed at repositioning the party ahead of future elections.
Speaking during the meeting, a party chieftain, Alhaji Ishola Balogun-Fulani, reaffirmed that the PDP remains united across the country despite recent political developments in some states.
He expressed confidence in the party’s strength and electoral prospects, stating that the PDP structure nationwide remains intact and capable of delivering victories at the polls.
Balogun-Fulani urged party members in Kwara State to remain committed to unity, loyalty, and grassroots mobilisation, stressing that collective effort would strengthen the party’s chances in upcoming elections.
He further expressed optimism that all PDP candidates would emerge victorious in future electoral contests, insisting that the party remains one and indivisible across Nigeria
