Akeredolu’s body arrives Nigeria (Photos)

The remains of the former Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu Aketi, SAN, CON, had arrived Nigeria.

The body of the late governor was brought to the country on Friday at about 03:40pm from Germany where he passed away.

The wife, children and family members of the deceased gathered to receive the corps of the late governor.

The Lagos State Chief of Staff, Mr. Tayo Ayinde; who represented the governor of Lagos State, Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Tokunbi Talabi; and representative of Osun State Governor, Senator Demola Adeleke joined in receiving the body of the deceased.

Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State Chairman of All Progressive Congress (APC), Engr. Ade Adetimehin and other prominent people were present at the airport to receive the body of the former Governor.

As the body of the late Governor was being lowered from the plane, family and friends could not control their emotions.

The late governor’s remains have been deposited at the morgue until the final burial.
