The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, Mai-Martaba Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR, has approved Thursday 2nd January 2025 for the fidau of the late Chief of Staff to the Kwara State Governor, Alhaji Mohammed Mahe AbdulKadir.

In a statement issued by his spokesman, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona, the Emir expressed deep sadness over the incidence nothing that, “We accept the demise of Prince Mahe AbdulKadir with total submission to the Will of Almighty Allah”.

According to him, “The fidau will hold on Thursday 2nd January 2025 at the Ilorin Emir’s Palace by 10am. We urge Muslim ummah in Ilorin Emirate and beyond to be part of the prayer which is aimed at seeking forgiveness and mercies for the departed soul.”

“The fidau will be led by the Chief Imam of Ilorin, Dr. Muhammad Bashir Imam-Soliu OON and other Islamic clerics in the Ilorin Emirate.”

Alhaji Muhammad Mahe AbdulKadir died on Saturday at the age of 73.
