Civil Defense Receives Bags Of Rice As Palliative In Kwara

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) Kwara State Command has received a significant boost from the Kwara State Government, with the allocation of 3,700 bags of palliative rice.

Speaking during the receipt of the palliatives on Wednesday, 21st February, 2024, Commandant Umar emphasized the importance of the gesture in assisting NSCDC officers amidst the prevailing economic challenges. He expressed gratitude to the Kwara State Governor, Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq, for extending the distribution of the food items to NSCDC.

Commandant Umar disclosed that this initiative will boost the morale of officers and men of the corps, enabling them to execute their duties effectively and efficiently.

He reiterated the corps’ unwavering commitment to addressing emerging security challenges in the state, reaffirming its dedication to protecting critical national assets and infrastructure.
