Coronation Of High Chief Adewumi Anthony Adebayo, Odò Èdè Compound Ayedun
High Chief, Ọba Ede Adewumi Anthony Adebayo of Odò Ede Compound in Ayedun Town Òkè Ẹrọ LGA of Kwara State was coronated Wednesday and witnessed by sons and daughters at Odò Ede Compound Ayedun.
The Coronation Activities was performed by the Highest Bodies Of Traditional Council Ayedun Kingdom, Obajisun-In-Councils, High Chiefs and Chiefs tagged _Ìwàrẹ̀fà_ led by His Royal Majesty-Kaabiyesi Obajisun of Ayedun Kingdom, Ọba (Dr) Olusegun Abayomi Rotimi (JP).
The Coronation was done in line with traditional rites of Ayedun Kingdom after the demise of Oba Jacob Olayemi of Odo Ede Compound Ayedun on 24th June,2023.
The newly coronated High Chief Ọba Ede Adewumi Anthony Adebayo alongside his Chief, Enijesa ‘Bode Afolayan jointly chosen among the contestants by sons and daughters, old and youngs,home and abroad for the post within the Odo Èdè Compound Ayedun.
The High Chief Ọba Ede Adewumi Anthony Adebayo is a civil servant,a teacher at Ayedun Muslim Jama’at Secondary School.
After the coronation traditional rites, norms and customs of Ayedun Kingdom, the religion leaders pray for Obajisun-In-Councils, the people of Ayedun home and abroad.
The attendance of security coverage by NSCDC, NPF and Neighborhood Security Operatives VGN and Hunter’s Association.
