The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Council of Chiefs, Mai-Martaba Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR has urged the general public to be part of a public programme scheduled to hold in Ilorin on Saturday 4th November 2023 marking 10th Annual Usmanu Danfodiyo Week.
Alhaji Sulu-Gambari, in a statement issued by his spokesman, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona, said that the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar, will arrive Ilorin on Friday ahead of the event.
The event will hold at Banquet Hall Opposite Government House, Ilorin beginning from 10am.
The statement noted that the event will host a famous international Islamic scholar, Dr. Zakir Niek, as the Guest Lecturer as well as other dignitaries including the Governor of Kwara State, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq as the Special Guest of Honour.
Alhaji Sulu-Gambari therefore appealed to indigenes of Ilorin Emirate and beyond to ensure that the visiting guests have a memorable experience throughout their stay in Ilorin.
