Family Announces Burial Plans for Late Senator Solomon Ewuga

The family of the late Senator Solomon Akku Ewuga, former Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State and Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has released the schedule for his funeral rites.

According to a statement issued by the family, events will begin with a Night of Songs and Tributes on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at De Rainbow Marque Events Centre, Garki, Abuja, starting at 4:00 p.m.

A wake keep will follow on Friday, October 31, at the late senator’s residence in Alushi, Nassarawa Eggon Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, also at 4:00 p.m.

The final burial service is scheduled for Saturday, November 1, at the Evangelical Reformed Church of Christ (ERCC), Alushi, beginning at 10:00 a.m., after which Senator Ewuga will be laid to rest.

Senator Ewuga, who represented Nasarawa North Senatorial District in the 7th National Assembly, died on September 23, 2025, in Cairo, Egypt, where he was receiving medical treatment. He was 70 years old.
