Former Governor of Kaduna State, Alhaji Ramalan Yero, has been defeated in his ambition to govern the state again during the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) primaries.
Alhaji Isa Ashiru has won the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship ticket in Kaduna State ahead of the 2023 general elections.
Ashiru defeated Alhaji Sani Sidi who scored 260, being his closest rival, ROYAL NEWS reports.
Other contestants were Ramalan Yero who scored 28, Barr. Abbas 15 votes, Haruna Saeed 11 votes and Shehu Sani 2 votes while 30 votes was declared invalid.
