Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has congratulated his Special Adviser on Education, Dr. Adetola Salau, on her appointment as Special Adviser on STEMM and Corporate Sector Engagement to the Honourable Minister of Education.
STEMM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, and Medicine.
In a congratulatory message issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye, Governor AbdulRazaq described the federal appointment as a recognition of Dr. Salau’s expertise, patriotism, and dedication to advancing STEM education in Nigeria and across Africa.
“We are proud of her modest contributions to the transformation of the education sector in Kwara State, especially in STEM education. Her energy, team spirit, and deep knowledge have been key to our successes,” the Governor said.
He added that although Dr. Salau is transitioning to a federal role, the state looks forward to continued collaboration with her in advancing educational development.
“We wish Dr. Adetola Salau more accomplishments in her new capacity at the Federal Ministry of Education. Her elevation underscores the value of the work she has done and the impact she continues to make in education,” he added.
Dr. Salau, a native of Kwara State, held a cabinet-level position in the state government before her latest federal appointment.
