Gov. AbdulRazaq reacts as Asante Kotoko defeats Kwara United FC 4-3

A football match between the Asante Kotoko of Ghana and Kwara United FC has ended 4-3 in favour of the host team, ROYAL NEWS has gathered.

Meanwhile, the Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq on Sunday evening joined the management, coaching crew, and supporters to cheer the Kwara United Football Club in their tough encounter with Asante Kotoko of Ghana.

A statement circulated by Rafiu Ajakaye noted that “the Governor commended the fighting spirit and the commitment of the players, wishing them a victorious outing next week in Nigeria.”

He said: “The Governor not only funded the team for the encounter, but he also supported the state chapter of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) to cover the match live for the people of the state and Nigeria as a whole.”
