Ilorin Emirate Youths mourn late Mustapha Akanbi

The Ilorin Emirate Youth Development Association, (IEYDA) has commiserated with Nigerians especially, the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, over the demise of the pioneer of the Independent Corrupt Practices Commission, (ICPC), Justice Mustapha Akanbi.

The group in its condolence message issued on Sunday by the National President and National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Abdullahi Babatunde and Alhaji Uthman Jagunmo respectively described the death as a monumental loss for humanity, ROYAL NEWS reports.

IEYDA said: “ Late Justice Muhammed Mustapha Akanbi was a father to all, a truly incorruptible judge, a committed community leader, anti-corruption crusader as well as a rear philanthropist. Nigerians will miss him and the Ilorin Emirate will certainly miss him a great deal.”

While condoling the Emir of Ilorin over the death of the late Wakili of Ilorin, the group besiege Almighty Allah to grant him rest in Al-janat Firdauz.
