KWASU VC’s death is monumental, saddening— KAM Holding CEO

The Group Managing Director/CEO of KAM Holding Ltd, Dr. Kamoru Yusuf (MON) on Monday commiserated with the Government and people of Kwara State over the death of the Vice Chancellor of the Kwara State University, Malete, Professor Muhammed Akanbi SAN describing it as a monumental loss to the nation.

In his condolence message to the University, the KAM Holding CEO noted with sympathy that the academic profession has lost a great asset who represented his community and humanity at large with diligence and hardwork.

He added that late Professor Akanbi, an academic Icon and renowned legal luminary was a visionary young man who proved his worth to attain the pinnacle of his academic and legal careers at a very young age.

“We have indeed lost a great asset. It is saddening, shocking and regrettable. What then is in this world if after attaining greatness and contributing excellently to the nation, such unfortunate incidence snatched Professor Muhammed Akanbi SAN from us?.

“The whole would will miss him greatly. May Allah be pleased with his soul, grant him comfort in his grave and reward him with al-janatul firdaos. ”

Dr. Yusuf also condoled the family of the deceased especially his widow and children, the people of Ilorin Emirate Council, the Governor of Kwara State Governor, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq as well as management and students of the University over the great loss.

He prayed Allah to give the community and nation at large the fortitude to bear the great loss.
