Lagos PDP Chairman’s abductors demand N200m ransom

The Chairman, Lagos State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Philip Aivoji, has been kidnapped.

He was kidnapped on Thursday, January 25, at Ogere area along Lagos/Ibadan Expressway around 6 pm, while coming back to Lagos from the PDP South-West Zonal meeting held in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

It was further learnt that another member of the Lagos State PDP Exco, who was said to have escaped from being kidnapped, is currently receiving treatment at an undisclosed hospital.

Meanwhile, the abductors have demanded N200 million ransom.
