LG Chairman pledges more supports for traditional institution

The Executive Chairman of Argungu local government of Kebbi State, Alhaji Salihu Ahmad, has pledged more support to traditional rulers in their capacity as the custodians of culture and history.

He gave the assurance when he received district heads in the local government who called on him to congratulate him on his victory at the poll.

The Chairman thanked them for the visit and urged them to be more security conscious and report any suspicious moment in their district to the nearest security outfit for necessarily action.

On his part, the leader of the delegation, district head of Gulma who is also the most Senior District head in Argungu Emirate, Alhaji Basharu Gulma, said they were in his office to rejoice with him and assured him of their unflinching support and continued loyalty for the development of the area and the State at large.

They also thanked him for the construction and furnishing of modern palaces for all the district heads in the local government.
