“Thousands Dumped You for Us in Kano” Kwankwaso Dares APC

Date:

Former presidential candidate and NNPP chieftain, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has thrown a bold jab at the All Progressives Congress (APC) after receiving what he described as “thousands of defectors” into the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) on Thursday.

The former Kano State Governor disclosed the development via his official X handle on Friday, declaring the event “momentous” and a sign of rising political momentum for his party.

“Yesterday was a momentous occasion, as I received thousands of defectors from the All Progressives Congress (APC) into the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP),” he posted.

Kwankwaso, the national figurehead of the Kwankwasiyya Movement, said he assured the new members of “equitable treatment and cooperation” within NNPP ranks.

He also boasted that the party’s leadership style in Kano continues to draw in opposition figures—encouraging others to join before it’s too late.

“The distinguished leadership style in Kano and our political leadership keep attracting more people into our fold,” he stated.

“I encourage those considering joining to do so without any hesitation.”
