Wigwe’s death, a great loss– Shehu Sanni
Former Nigerian lawmaker and social activist, Senator Shehu Sani, has described the death of Herbert Wigwe, the Chief Executive of Officer of Access Bank Holdings Plc, as tragic and sad.
Wigwe, his wife, son, and two others, died in a helicopter crash in California, United States.
Herbert Wigwe died at the age of 58. He was born in Ibadan, Oyo State, on August 15, 1966.
ROYAL NEWS reports that the lawmaker disclosed this in a statement through his official X handle on Saturday.
He said: “The news of the death of Access Bank CEO Herbert Wigwe and five others in a helicopter crash is tragic, sad and heartbreaking. A great loss. May their souls rest in peace,” he stated.
