American rapper Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, popularly known as Cardi B, has confirmed she is expecting her fourth child, her first with boyfriend and NFL player Stefon Diggs.
Speculation about the pregnancy intensified after viral photos showed the 31-year-old leaving a courtroom in connection with her assault case, with fans noting her visible baby bump.
During an appearance on CBS Mornings, Cardi B put the rumours to rest, telling host Gayle King: “I’m having a baby with my boyfriend Stefon Diggs.” She added that she is due ahead of her Little Miss Drama tour scheduled for February.
“I’ve been putting in all this work, but I’m doing all this work while I’m creating a baby. I’m happy, I feel like I’m in a good space,” she said.
The Grammy-winning artist also praised her relationship with Diggs, noting that they share mutual support and understanding of each other’s careers. “Me and my man are very supportive of each other. We’re in the same space in our careers. I feel like we’re really great—we’re really the best at what we do,” she added.
Cardi B was previously in a high-profile relationship with rapper Offset, with whom she shares three children.
