Real Madrid coach Álvaro Arbeloa has dismissed recent claims that star striker Kylian Mbappé is struggling with a knee problem, describing them as “absolutely false information.”
In recent days, rumors circulated suggesting that Mbappé’s knee could affect his performance, but Arbeloa stressed that these reports are misleading. “What Kylian has said these days… it is absolutely false information,” he told reporters, urging focus on the player’s contributions on the field.
The former Madrid defender emphasized that Mbappé should now concentrate fully on his goals, highlighting the importance of both mental and physical focus for maintaining top-level performance.
Arbeloa’s comments come as Mbappé continues to play a key role for both Real Madrid and the French national team, ahead of crucial domestic and international competitions.
On team fitness updates, Arbeloa noted that midfielder Jude Bellingham has had limited minutes in recent matches. “Jude is smart enough to have done good training sessions. And he’s ready to help tomorrow,” he said, adding that his limited play against Atlético Madrid was a precautionary measure by manager Thomas Tuchel.
