Soludo is a sign of new order, group declares
The Anambra State governor-elect, Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo, has been described as a sign of a new Nigeria, South East and Anambra state in particular.
This assertion was made by the leadership of Universal Prayer Fellowship, East Mandate Global and Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN, and the entire christian community in Anambra State. during the ‘Alaigbo Sunrise Prayer and Thanksgiving Crusade,’ held yesterday at Dr Alex Ekwueme Square Awka, Anambra State.
According to Apostle Nzimiro who is the son of Prof. Ikenna Nzimiro, “The coming of Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, is supposed to turn and move Anambra State to the unimaginable level. Anambra State is already a blessed land, the state is like a first son in Igbo land and in reality Anambra has been blessed with good governors, but I want to assure you that Soludo as I see in heaven is supposed to do better than all of them.
“One of the things that I pray he does is that he should not go looking into the past, he should rather honour those who have rules the state and just focus and begin a new thing because he is a sign of new Nigeria, that was why his election went the way went, when everybody thought there will be no election, but God in heaven came down to show us what the future will be.”
On his part, Evangelist Ezenwafor, said that Anambra State is part of the glory of Igbo land and God brought Prof Soludo to come and fulfill the expectations of the people of the state, South East and Nigerian in general.
“Prof. Soludo is Gods ordination to Nigeria, South East and Anambra State in particular, his administration is going to be a new beginning , a new vision and a new approach to governance. We are looking at an incoming administration that will be accommodating and make everybody feel as Anambrarians and work together to achieve success in the state.
“We are talking of a new Anambra because there is every reason for the state to become new. We are looking at a healing that started on November 6, 2021 to continue to the end of the incoming administration.
Chairman PFN Anambra State, Bishop Ezedebego on his part said that the thanksgiving crusade was a followup in complete obedience to a privileged instruction from God, leading to mobilization for intercessory prayer rally, held before the Anambra State governorship election, and then a followup consolidation prayer crusade and thanksgiving rally.
Deputies Governor-elect, of Anambra Stste, Dr Onyakachukwu Ibezim, while addressing the people said that the state government will help to ensure that the prayer crusade is organized yearly, and commended the conveners for remembering the state from their respective base.
Prominent among the dignitaries that attended the event were traditional ruler of Awka, Igwe Gibson Nwosu, who was represented by his traditional prime minister, Engr. Benjamin Okoye, His Royal Majesty, Dr Augustine Chukwuemeka Eri, the Akajoofor of Igbo land, His Royal Highness, Nnari Nzeribe, Ezeyiuche of Oguta, Imo State and Bishop Paul Nwachukwu, General Superintendent, Grace of God Mission.
